A very simple recipe which surely wins all kids heart in a moment and makes you the super chef in their eyes. While serving this to them, you won’t feel guilty as all the ingredients used were healthy.
So don’t think so much and surprise your kids with these cool chocolate shots when they will come from school. Even in this scorching heat, they would love to go to school next day, hoping to get this again when they came back. This has happened with me who has a son, a hardcore critic but who can’t stop praising this (not knowing how easy it was, to make and the magic was done by chocolate not by me).
Even I found it so tasty that I gobbled two shots desiring for more because all shots were vanished with in the blink of an eye.
If you like thick consistency, you can add more chocolate and if you like it the other way round you can of course, add more milk, similarly sugar too can be adjusted according to taste.
- Full fat milk – 400 ml
- Blanched almond – 10
- Dark good quality chocolate – 125 gms
- Good quality unsweetened cocoa powder – 2 tsp
- Sugar – 1 tbsp(optional)
- Slivered almond and cream (optional)
Blend almonds in a mixer jar with little milk to form a smooth paste. Boil the remaining milk in a pan, after one boil switch off the gas, stir cocoa powder and sugar. Immediately add chopped chocolate and let the chocolate melt by the heat of milk. After 2 to 3 minutes stir until all well combined now add almond paste to it and combine all together, now pour this in shot glasses and let it chill in the freeze for 2 to 3 hours. Garnish with slivered almond and cream.
If you too, want this foamy texture of your shots after mixing all the ingredients, whisk them well for 1 minute with a hand blender on full speed.
